Shaun provides the management and strategic direction for Harris Associates. With over 35 years of experience in the industry, Shaun has worked across the residential, commercial, public, and private sectors, providing a full range of building surveying and project management services. Areas of expertise include pre-acquisition advice, due diligence, and bespoke analysis work, including the assessment of a building's compliance with relevant statutes, such as the Building Regulations. Shaun has had many years of managing complex major refurbishment and renovation contracts, and in the last 5 years has acted as lead consultant on multiple significant façade remediation and re-cladding contracts.

Other areas of expertise include acting as a retained surveyor and delivering building surveying services to large estates and residential developments. Shaun is heavily involved in the running and development of the façade remediation services, working closely with the façade investigations and technical team. He takes the lead on our Historic Compliance Review services and the development of new services to meet new statutes and regulatory requirements. Shaun also provides bespoke advice and project management services in situations where projects or contracts have become distressed.

Shaunna Thornton (BSc CMIOSH), Director- Risk, Compliance and Safety Management at Ark Workplace Risk .

Shaunna has over 12 years of Health and Safety experience across various sectors and 6 years’ experience within the built environment. Holding a BSc in Occupational Health and Safety allows her to drive and maintain successful client partnerships, delivering a gold standard of services and solutions through managing the Customer Success Department within Ark. 

As part of the Ark Senior Management Team, Shaunna works strategically with clients, overseeing their risk, compliance and safety roadmaps, developing bespoke solutions, and ensuring their ongoing success.

Teresa J Payne is Group Director of Parfitt Cresswell Solicitors.  Parfitt Creswell has offices across the South-east and also trades as Charles Coleman & Co., Colemans, Copley Clark, Jevons, Riley and Pope, Keene Marsland, and Max Barford & Co.  

Tom Davies is Group Financial Services Managing Director at LRG, where he leads Mortgage Scout and the group’s wider financial services business. 

With two decades’ experience in the mortgage sector, Tom has held senior roles including Sales Director and Managing Director at Alexander Hall. He is now focused on building LRG’s financial services offering, ensuring clients receive expert mortgage and protection advice tailored to their needs.

Tom also plays a key role in shaping strategy and driving growth across LRG’s financial services division, working with lenders and regulators to support buyers, landlords, and homeowners.

Tony Hymers is a Chartered Surveyor with over 30 years’ experience in property management. He co-founded Burlington Estates and Tempest AI, was MD at Ballymore, and formerly chaired ARMA. Today, he focuses on using AI to transform the sector—boosting agent profits and improving the resident experience.

With over 25 years of experience in the property sector, Trevor Adey brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to his role as Director and Founder of Placekeeper Management. His career spans work with leading housebuilders including Barratt, Redrow, Bellway, Bloor Homes, Countryside/Vistry, Forge New Homes, Brierley Homes, and others.

Trevor’s expertise is rooted in two decades at Savills and other top-tier consultancies, where he advised on housing and development projects across the UK. He later joined national open space charity The Land Trust, where he spent six years pioneering service charge-funded estate management schemes for large-scale urban extensions and garden villages nationwide.

In addition to his professional roles, Trevor has served as a resident director of a Residents Management Company (RMC) for over 12 years, giving him a unique perspective on both the operational and lived experience of estate management.
